The Pickr App Launched

We’re excited to announce the launch of the brand new and improved Pickr App!

The App’s redevelopment has been 5 months in the making. We’ve entirely re-engineered the Pickr software architecture to ensure we’re using the best-in-class technology, built for scale and resilience.

We’ve also stripped back the old features to focus on creating a great user experience. Our first release offers Workers an intuitive new design, increased functionality and a place to hold all their work information, experience and accreditations.

Workers can struggle to show their value to Hirers, and each time they start work with a new company they get stuck in the bureaucracy of form filling. The new Pickr App debunks the need for a CV, allowing businesses who need Workers to access all the information they need in one place.

Workers create their profile to accurately reflect their skills and experience. In just a couple of minutes workers can input their work history, accreditations and preferred rates of pay.

The Pickr App allows Workers to easily upload proof of their accreditations straight from their phone. This allows Pickr to make all the necessary identification, proof of accreditations and DBS checks prior to them starting work.

Pickr then has all the information needed to match Workers to Hirers, saving time, and reducing admin.

This is the first of many exciting releases on the Pickr app. With each development sprint we aim to add more value to our customers and community of workers. The ease and usability of the new Pickr app is just one way we’re removing the barriers to fulfilling and flexible fibre work.
