Warehouse Operative - Norwich

As an ambassador for our client  you will work as part of the warehouse team, based in Norwich and follow instructions set by your Team Leader or Management.  You will have a keen eye for detail, always ensuring you are completing work within allocated time frames and to a satisfactory standard. You will be required to assist with the safe and timely offloading and unloading of vehicles, allocation of stock to designated areas and picking, packing and labeling of items for delivery.  You will be accountable for ensuring that all tasks are completed with accuracy and correctly to reduce the risk of errors. You will be flexible and reliable with a positive attitude and take pride in your work.Responsibilities and Duties:To deal with the delivery in and out of goods.Ensure that all items are stored away safely and correctly in the designated areasTo assist in completing any paperwork or passing to the relevant person in a timely mannerResponsible for making sure that all goods are treated with due care and attention to avoid any damages or lossesAlways wear uniform and correct PPE and work safely, in accordance with group policies and health and safety guidelines.To maintain good housekeeping and hygiene standards in the workplace (clean, tidy and free of obstructions)Too assist in checking all equipment regularly and ensuring safety and compliance.  *Only trained and designated people are able to use certain equipment*To build on product knowledge to enable the most productive output of workAssisting in stock checksTo be smart and well presented at all timesTo perform any other relevant tasks assigned by your Line Manager or a DirectorPerson Specification:Practical and focused on any given task with the ability to show great care and attention to detailAble to follow instruction and work to deadlinesFlexible and reliable with a strong work ethicPositive attitude and able to communicate well within a teamFit and able to perform some manual tasks, such as lifting and moving product
