#BalanceForBetter shortlisted as B2B campaign of the year
Remember our #BalanceForBetter campaign? We heard from 6 amazing women working in telecoms. Well, we’re happy to say the it’s still making waves!
The series has been shortlisted as a finalist in the Social Media Marketing Awards, ‘B2B campaign of the year’. The judges now have three weeks to select a winner from the 5 finalists on the merit and results of their campaign. You can see the full shortlist here.
The series, which was also shortlisted for a UK Content Award, was a response to International Women’s Day #BalanceforBetter hashtag to promote gender parity. Telecoms roles, like many STEM industries, are disproportionately held by men. Particularly in hands on engineering roles and in the boardroom. This series sought to celebrate the trailblazers leading the way, from the engineers on the ground to the CEO’s building their own telecoms empires.
Not only did we get a glimpse into the valuable experiences of these women but also gained some real actionable advice which could help other girls and women get into the industry. If you can see it, you can be it! Huge thanks to them for their contribution to the series.
The winners will be announced on the 14th October at a ceremony held at Cafe De Paris in London. We best get our posh frocks out-wish us luck!
